"Money can't buy you class, elegance is leaaarned

mah friends!"

What's up HO-BAGS! Can we all agree that this season of the Real Housewives of New York has been the most epic thing to hit reality tv since David from Real World New Orleans debuted his song, "
C'mon Be My Baby Tonight"? Sorry if I've lost you but what I'm trying to say is, you should all watch Real Housewives. I've told you before and I'll tell you again, that is good TV. You can't make that stuff up.

Anywhoz, that mascara above. Don't be fooled by its cool, little, spiky applicator. It sucks so bad.

Sushi and Shrek IMAX 3D tonight & hopefully a beach day sometime this weekend if the rain lets up.

"I've seen the way you've treated other thugs you've been with, c'mon be my baby tonight!"

Uhhh, sure. Bye!

[ half brooklyn special - pepperoni, roasted bell peppers, caramelized onions & mozzarella
half pollo - chicken, roasted garlic, roasted bell peppers & mozzarella]

Tried Andiamo, the gas station turned pizza parlor on Biscayne Blvd. I often pass this place on the way to school and it's always packed. Wide variety of meats, cheeses and veggies you can choose for toppings...or just go for the brooklyn special 'cause it was fireeee. Savory pepperoni, sweet bell peppers & onions & full of flavor.

Final verdict on Andiamo:

"These shoes pinch ma feet, but I love them."

Been searching for a pair of close toed nude heels for work/play.

20 inches tall & 1/2 size too small.

72 Bar + Grill

[smores milkshake - vanilla ice cream, chocolate, graham crackers, toasted marshmallows]

[blt burger - cheddar cheese, applewood smoked bacon]

[juancho burger - fried egg, bacon, cheddar cheese & chimichurri mayo]

That's a good looking burger!

This place is pretty similar to the nearby
Town except I find that I'm always disappointed with the food at Town. I've only been to 72 once but everything was fuuuuh-nominal. I had a smores milkshake (way better than the popular toasted marshmallow shake @ Stand NYC) and the Juancho Burger. Boots had the BLT. The burgers are huge. I only finished half and still didn't have room for dessert which sucked because the white chocolate raspberry bread pudding sounded amazing.

& they have $3 Wednesdays.

$3 mojitos - martinis - margaritas and appetizers.

Small, simple menu. Modern, chic atmosphere.

I love this place already. So what are you doing this Wednesday?

Bag Lady, you gon' hurt cho back

I'm not a purse girl. I'd rather spend my money on shoes (and even that department has been lacking lately). But last year, after running around Miami with a 5 yr old, bright coral colored Coach purse for far too long, I decided I needed an everyday black purse. After weeks of browsing I fell in love with this L.A.M.B bag. Boots bought it for me for our two year anniversary and I've been using it ever since.

(Excuse the shadows) & I've beaten the crap out of it. It's my bookbag, my pillow, a doorstopper and where I hide my CVS bought candy for when I go to the movies. As requested by Amy, here's my "What's In My Bag" post because she said people care about this stuff?

left corner going clockwise: Coach makeup bag, Urban Outfitters wallet, my "in case of emergency" tampon - I've saved many a girls lives with these badboys, ruler to spank people with...or for accounting class, battery, calculator, MAC studio fix to hide the ugly, headphones, a shitload of lip products hiding in my makeup bag. I had no idea I had so many and yes they all fit except for the rosebud lip balm, hair ties for when the naps get out of control

left corner going clockwise: my life, Canon - goes everywhere with me, why do I have so many pens?, Kanye's workout plan, random bill, Invisalign aka a $6K mistake, travel size Scope that has been in my purse since my last trip to NY, peppermint oil for migraines - rub it on your temples & it does wonders, Aleve for when the peppermint oil doesn't do wonders, Orbit's spearmint always, school name tag

Luckily, I didn't have the usual crazy amount of old receipts and gum wrappers in there. Sometimes I even have a pair of heels in my bag.

I heart big purses.

Do Want! Part III

A little over the top but I could see myself kicking Barbie's™ ass in these red-lacquered soled heels.

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Boots treated me to dinner at Rosa Mexicano over the weekend. I'd been dying to go since it opened in the hip Brickell area but I'd heard it's just overpriced Mexican food. & guess what, it is! But my chicken suiza enchilada was so good. It came drowned in tomatillo sauce which I'm pretty much obsessed with. & Boots' carne asada tacos were equally tasty. I don't recommend the over-hyped guacamole. Come to my house and I'll make you some real guacamole and I won't charge you $14.

& guess where I'm going for lunch to celebrate Cinco de Mayo today. Hint.

[mozzarella in carrozza]

[boots' - chicken buoniconti parmesan]

[mine - fettuccini alfredo lasorda]

I recommend you go very hungry.

When I first saw the prices at Randazzo's, I was a little shocked. Pasta dishes are around $20-$30. $24 for fettuccine alfredo and it doesn't even come with a protein? Oh, heeeell nah. But once you see the huge portions that can feed an entire Italian family, you "get it". Then you remember you're in Coral Gables and these people have to pay their Miracle Mile rent somehow and you really "get it".

Bread comes with a spicy, pepper dipping oil. Addicting. The fried mozzarella comes with the most banging marinara sauce I've ever had.

Chicken parmesan was a little too cheesy. I like it more sauce-eh.

Fettucine alfredo was ok. Not the best. Not the worst.

I was way too stuffed for their "Shutup and eat a connoli! It's 10,000 calories! So what! You ain't a model", as it reads on the menu.

Cute place. Really cozy. I'd go back just for the Sinatra they played all throughout dinner.

[On the corner of LeJeune & Miracle Mile.]

I left my heart in Manhattan

Not with a silly boy but with the energy of the city. & I fully intend on following the little red line back to my heart and staying there (for good).

Purchased from Vintage Refashioned. They take custom orders. Holler.
