It somehow slipped my mind that I'd only really have two full days in Boston. I thought I'd have a lot more time to sightsee. I didn't. I stayed in Dedham, a small suburb outside of the city. These pictures don't do it justice. Autumn is everywhere.

& this is just one of the reasons I will raise my kids in the north. If they don't get to see this regularly, I'll cry.

More reasons the north has stolen my heart:

- Fireplaces
- Cozy basements
- Porches
- Those second entrances to houses and the little rooms used for boots/coat hanging. Cuteness.
- Jumping in piles of dirty, dry leaves
- Scenic drives

& literally every other house was decorated for Halloween. So festive!
